MILLESIMÈ VINTAGE DAL 1997

Millesime was born in 1996 from a young entrepreneur’s passion for fashion and his desire to stand out, selecting and searching for vintage clothes and accessories. And today, this vocation to uniqueness and excellence can be read from the name.

Millesimè, in French, means the year of something special used until then only for the excellent wine but it can also be attributed to a dress by Coco Chanel, an object by Cassina or a bag by Hermés that in fashion and in design they have marked a historical period and are identified as objects of vintage or vintage.

The search for that “something special” guides the daily selection of thousands of garments, starting with clothes and accessories from every era (from the Vittoriano to the tailoring of the 20s and 50s, up to the legendary 60s and ’70) and is completed with the most important French and Italian brands that have followed in the wake of those years to impose themselves forcefully in the world fashion market.

The company covers an area of ​​over 2000 square meters, over 300 baskets occupy our warehouses containing tons of vintage clothing, carefully selected by expert operators and then divided by type and vintage.

The continuous research, the careful selection and preservation of the garments allows us to collaborate with creative directors of important fashion houses, of the caliber of Valentino, Max Mara, Philosophy and Gucci, but also with many movie houses in the search for costumes for the cinema and TV series.

Among the big names that have chosen Millesimè here is, for example, Janty Yates, winner of the Oscar for best costume designer for The Gladiator, who personally selected the costumes for Pastorano for Per tutti I soldi del mondo (the film, directed by Ridley Scott, Oscar and Golden Globe nominees 2018) but also Nicoletta Taranta – who selected the outfits for the film and the series “Romanzo Criminale, Signorina Effe, La Prima Linea with Riccardo Scamarcio and Pasolini by Abel Ferrara – Antonella Cannarozzi, who has entrusted to Millesimè in the search for clothes for fiction revelation L’amica geniale, and many others.
